children and mediation
telling the children
I can support you in preparing how to tell your children about your divorce or separation. Your care in how you deliver this news will help the children process the imminent transition in your family.
the voice of children in mediation
As a mediator, I keep our common focus on the well-being of the children during the whole mediation process. This way, the children are involved in the mediation process from the very beginning.
It is the parents’ responsibility to take decisions regarding their children. I therefore encourage parents to talk with their children about what they experience, what they feel and need. This will strengthen parents when they make parenthood agreements focused on the well-being of their children.
We can agree that I meet the children to find out how they experience the parents’ separation, what they need to feel fine living in two homes.
